SYNOPSIS
Once upon a time, there was an orphan boy who lived in a small, old, and sad village. But then the village received an unexpected visit from a Puppeteer, who brought joy to (almost) everybody. Three of the villagers: the Major, the Captain, and the Banker remained suspicious of that mysterious man.
ESPAÑOLErase una vez un niño huérfano que vivía un pueblo pequeño, antiguo y triste. Pero entonces el pueblo recibió la visita inesperada de un titiritero, que alegró a todos (o a casi todos) los aldeanos. Sin embargo, tres de los aldeanos: el alcalde, el capitán y el banquero, desconfiaban de la visita de aquel hombre misterioso.

MEET THE DIRECTOR
RUBEN HENGESBACH
Ruben Hengesbach (Alicante, Spain, 1974) is a filmmaker based in Lleida, Spain and graduate of the Escola Municipal de Belles Arts de Lleida. He has directed the award-winning short films “La UdL i jo” (2009), “Polysemic” (2009), “Lanterna Digital” (2010), and “Give Peace to Your Dialogue” winner of the Animations for Peace (Animacions per la Pau) short film competition.
ESPAÑOLRuben Hengesbach (Alicante, España, 1974) es un cineasta que vive en Lleida, España y egresado de la Escola Municipal de Belles Arts de Lleida. Ha dirigido los cortometrajes premiadas “La UdL i jo” (2009), Polisèmiques” (2009), “Lanterna Digital” (2010), y “Dona Pau al teu diàleg” que ganó mejor cortometraje en el concurso “Animacions per la Pau”.
