Synopsis
An essay film starring an off-screen narrator who, one sleepless night, gradually encounters the nostalgia of a past love relationship. His inability to fall asleep serves as the vehicle that invites us on a journey through the liminal and nocturnal spaces of Buenos Aires, traversed by fragmented scenes of everyday life. A bird, the copy of a famous painting, and the memories of that bond will be entangled between the sordidness, the emptiness, and the feeling of unreality to remain continuously awake.
Un ensayo fílmico protagonizado por un narrador en off que, durante una noche de insomnio, se encuentra gradualmente con la nostalgia de un amor pasado. Su incapacidad para dormir se convierte en el vehículo que nos invita a un recorrido por los espacios liminales y nocturnos de Buenos Aires, atravesados por escenas fragmentadas de la vida cotidiana. Un pájaro, la copia de una pintura famosa y los recuerdos de ese vínculo se entrelazan entre la sordidez, el vacío y la sensación de irrealidad para permanecer en un estado de vigilia continua.

But on this journey, she realizes she must break the cycle and choose love over violence.
Durante el festival de La Noche de San Juan en España, Jessica es una adolescente de 14 años y su hermana menor Alma van a recoger la comida de caridad. El maltrato de su padre ha hecho de Jessica una chica conflictiva, irascible y con una gran coraza incluso con Alma, de 8 años. A través de este viaje, ella se dará cuenta de que debe romper el ciclo de abuso y aprender desde el amor y no desde la violencia.
