Alberto Ferreras was born in Madrid, raised in Caracas and currently lives in New York. He is a writer, filmmaker, and content creator known for HBO’s Habla documentary series, and the theatrical piece My Audition for Almodóvar. Moreover, he even was the translator of Madonna’s “Lo que siente la mujer” (“What It Feels Like for a Girl”, in English). He is the author of B as in Beauty, an award-winning novel that has left a lasting impact on the audience. The narrative has been described as “perfectly witty, funny, and truly engaging”. B as in Beauty won the International Latino Book Award for fiction, and has been published in Spain, Italy and the U.S. Ferreras’ cinematographic projects have been presented at the International Berlin Film Festival and the British Film Institute.
